Hey every one, I've been trying to recall the song social d used as their into song, a couple years back, when they would come out on stage. this was an old blues riff. Its not the song they currently use. It's driving me freakin nutts. Does any one know what it was?

I'm a pretty insane fan of that record. I'd love to see Mike accoustically cover Ventilator Blues.
On a sorta-kinda-side-note : Am I the only one who noticed a pretty strong similarity between Ball And Chain and Dead Flowers? Ok, not THAT strong, but a little more than a fleeting resemblance at least. Just a random thought.
it always bugged me that in the beginning of Ventilator Blues the drums didnt kick in harder...especially with that first vocal line...i dunno why...that beginning guitar riff just gives me the chills...i just thought that when the drums came in it was so fucking weak...always bugged me, dunno why.
but yea...Ball & Chain sounds a lot like Dead Flowers...the best cover of that song ive ever heard is Guns N Roses version...its kinda hard to find...but its fuckin amazing...Izzy does some awesome tele licks in it
I think Turds On The Run would make an awesome intro song...

I actually used to play in a band that covered Ball and Chain and Dead Flowers. We combined them into one song but I can't remember the exact structure. It always threw people off but everyone seemed to dig it. It was funny, you could tell who was into what kind of music by looking for what point in the song they stopped and did the "what the...?" look.

At the show in San Diego, they used an old surf song for the intro ... I forget it's name and who does it, but I do know it's on the Pulp Fiction soundtrack, because that's how I recognized it. And no, it's not Misirlou or Dick Dale.
The Street Dogs opened with Man In Black, it was loud and it was proud, I was impressed.
The preview music for the show was the Clash's greatest hits ... but Im not sure if that was at Social D's request or if its Soma's generic 'punk rock show' opening cd.
